  The impact experienced in relation to the ZA Registry Consortium's (ZARC) communicated high traffic on .ZA name servers has resolved.

  We have received official communication from the ZA Registry Consortium (ZARC) regarding high traffic on .ZA Name Servers, impacting DNS lookups. Additionally, the Google public DNS infrastructure is intermittently experiencing lookup failures.

  How does this impact you?
  Failed DNS lookups will cause your domain’s email and website services to become unreachable, leading to intermittent disruptions.

  As these interruptions are externally managed, we will continue to provide updates and adjust our status page accordingly.

  Investigations have indicated that there are external DNS lookup failures, we are continuing to investigate.

  We are currently experiencing a DNS issue resulting in email and website services being intermittently unavailable.
  Due to the issue, customers are not able to place transfer requests for .co.za domains.
