Summary: Open Access Data Centres (OADC) in Brackenfell, which houses our Cape Town Data Centre, will be performing essential power system maintenance from 31 August to 2 September 2026, between 22:00 and 00:00 SAST each night.
The maintenance requires temporarily switching off the A and B power feeds at set intervals to complete the necessary upgrades. Only one feed will be affected at any given time.
As your equipment is connected to a redundant dual-power supply system, power will automatically switch to the active feed while work is carried out on the other. The emergency backup power systems on the live feed will be fully operational for the duration of the maintenance. This will allow your services to remain operational and protected throughout the maintenance.
- Symptoms: We do not anticipate any impact on your services during this maintenance window. No action is required from you.
